Better service through better understanding
Jonathan Ketteridge Associates Ltd is an established commercial project and cost management consultancy based in Leeds currently servicing projects throughout the UK and globally.
From humble beginnings in 2005, JKA has since provided project management services on some of the most prestigious schemes in the region and claims management services on some of the highest-profile building projects internationally.
As a valued member of the team, JKA has been retained by its employer’s agency, dispute resolution and quantity surveying clients who appreciate the benefits of employing experienced, dual-qualified consultants.
“God is not on the side of the big battalions, but on the side of the best shots.”
When Voltaire wrote those words in 1735 he probably didn’t have had a 17-year-old quantity surveyor sat at his desk in Leeds city centre in 1986 in mind. However, those words were very much uppermost in the thoughts of one young surveyor as he designed his career and planned his professional education.
From an early age, I recognised that further qualifications in project management and construction law would enable me to serve my clients better not only in those related disciplines but also in core quantity surveying practice.
My further training in construction law, project management and expert witness evidence advises an expert level understanding of quantity surveying practice and employer’s agency, as well as providing me with the skills to successfully deliver project management, adjudication advocacy, employer’s agency and expert witness services.
35 years later this practice, founded on those principles continues to go from strength to strength.
